Omg, I hate my reading teacher. The school rule IN THE SCHOOL HANDBOOK states that.... well, let's say I have something due on the 31st of October (I just chose my bday cuz it's the first date that came to mind) and I haven't turned in yet. Technically, if I turn it in on the 31st before school hours are over, it won't be late. It says that in the rulebook, I swear. But NOOOOO. She has to MAKE ME FAIL YET ANOTHER ASSIGNMENT when I'm trying to turn it in ON THE DAY THAT IT'S DUE. She does this kind of thing to alot of people. She doesn't even consider the circumstances. Example? My good friend Trisha was about to turn in a major project when her computer crashed, deleting all her work. The next day, her mom sent her to school WITH A NOTE explaining what had happened. My teacher didn't give a s***! Trisha ended up getting a 50 on the project when she turned it in the next day (Points are deducted for late work) I swear! The nerve of some people!

Oh well, that's life. :)

It'll be worse dealing with a boss in the real world I think.

There's no point in arguing with those kind of teacher. You'd only be wasting your time and energy on someone you hate. If I were you, I'd get things done in advance and even turn it in early to her. That's the best way to make sure you don't come across problems like these.

You could always complain to someone higher. They'll either change the school rules, or they'll make the teacher change.

Well, now that I think about it, there's a chance that it won't accomplish anything, but it wouldn't hurt to try. I used to turn in stuff on the same day too. It was fine for my teachers, but I guess it really depends on who that is.
