Why the f would someone go date girl after girl soon after a long time relationship breakup? Insecurity?

He's been going out with so many different girls that I can't even count the number of girls he's gone out with. At first, I thought he was just lonely and was looking for love. After seeing how many girls he's gone out with, I just think he's pathetic. Not to mention, he goes dates multiple girls at the same time. When did he become such an a******?

I have no idea what would cause someone to do this. Maybe it was a good thing you broke up.

People don't always change for the better. I've known a few people in my life who started out really good, but ended up really bad. I still haven't figured it out myself, but it happens sometimes.

So who broke up with who in this 'long-term relationship?'

Also, both girls and guys hunt for rebounds. It's quite easy for some to fill that temporary painful void and keep your mind off of such. It's just the way humans are in nature... when one doesn't feel so good emotionally, we seek remedies whether its music, isolation, or increased socialization/dating.

Both genders also increase the outgoing and wild personality after a breakup. What happens when one of your girlfriends break up with a guy? She stereotypically hits the ice cream or cookies etc. stays at home. What do the girlfriends do? Try to prevent, help take their mind off of things, and go out. A night out. See where this is leading? More partying, increased socialization or the ratio of meeting the opposite sex, and maybe even promiscuity.
