If you are upset, it does not mean that you have depression, or that you understand how depressed people feel.
Following on, if you once cut yourself when you were a teenager, I am very sorry you felt so bad you needed to do that, but it probably doesn't mean that you are now an official artistic person.
If you have an awkward moment, it does not mean you have social anxiety or social phobia. Be glad that you can leave the house or use public transport without needing a friend to go with you, ok?
If you like things tidy, it does not mean you have OCD. People with OCD often have disturbing and unsettling thoughts and obsessions that they cannot explain which control their life. I do not have OCD, but I know people who do. Their lives are very difficult.
If you watch a youtube video about an autistic kid who can memorize the train time table and graduated age fourteen, it does not mean that all people with autism are geniuses.
If you have a cousin you met once or twice who's gay, it does not mean you are a gay rights activist. If you're good with it, good, but you should be anyway. It's nothing special.
If you once bought a birthday card supporting the "save the donkeys" charity, you are not a saint.
If you do try to understand, thank you.
