So I've been grounded for around 5 months now for being caught with porn for the first time. My parents won't let me sleep over at a friend's, they've taken my phone, I can't make any contact with a female (such as talking to/texting/email or hanging out), I get home from school, do homework, eat dinner, and go to bed. My friends are starting to leave me and their parents think badly of mine because they are irrational, and then my parents blame me for that. When I try to talk to them they refuse to communicate or let me speak. If I cut in or interrupt they just send me to my room and tell me to pray for forgiveness. I am chronically depressed and hate my life, but they won't talk to me about that much less care about my wellbeing. Last week I fell halfway down the stairs and my dad told me to get a paper towel and wipe the blood from my skinned knee off the floor. I am seriously contemplating running away or suicide. I have to get their attention long enough to let them know how I feel, because they won't let me communicate.
Thanks for listening,
Jaxson

First of all, porn is natural to watch in my opinion. Sex is natural. Maybe watching it isn't natural but who f***ing cares? If your parents are Jesus freaks and you aren't, then tell them. Maybe they'll get angrier but oh well. If you don't want to do that or you are religious, write them a letter and then go to your friends house after school and don't go home. Make a point and put your foot down because that is just plain up rude and bad parenting to do that. How is grounding your child for watching porn going to make them not watch it ever again? The child will just want to do it more and more secretly.
