Dooms day?

Okay I don't believe in dooms day or 2012 or whatever but people have been talking about this. I think its dumb. If you haven't heard of 2012 or May 21,2011 here are some articles. Share your opinion.

People who believe in this are just a bunch of idiots who think they know when the world will end, when in reality, nobody really knows.

I'm sick of hearing about this from so many people. It's as if people were born yesterday or something. There have been so many dooms day predictions in the last couple of decades alone. Really?

Great, Mayan calendar ends in 2012. Well f***. I'm pretty sure if I lived back in those days, I wouldn't want to have to take the time to carve out more dates on a piece of rock. Even present day Mayan's couldn't care less about what happens in 2012.

May 21, 2011 rapture? Really? What happened to the 1994 predictions? What about the 1993 ones? Oh, that's right, nothing happened. I could go on. I mean, the earliest predictions started out in like 1844.

And for you Bible thumpers out there, Matthew 24:36 says "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only". Well holy s***. Really? No one knows? Wow. Based on that statement alone, if people are predicting a certain date, then we can be pretty sure that it's not going to happen on that day.

With all the advertisement going on about all of this, I'm surprised we didn't just reuse any of the old ones for the failed predictions --> http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/42/1992_Rapture.jpg

Would've saved tons of money.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the same guy who started the May 21, 2011 prediction is the same guy who predicted September 6, 1994. He just decided to revise his prediction. WTF?

I'd like rapture to come. That means all the crazy religious people can go upstairs, while I'm "doomed" to remain here with all the sinful people. We can finally live our lives not having to deal with moronic evangelistic s***heads. Yay.

Edit: And think of the parties!

You're an idiot who thinks "rapture" and what you speak isn't a religion, when in actuality, it really is a religion where you are your own "god"

Duh.

What the hell are you trying to say?

I apologize; my poor philistine self cannot understand thy glorious verbiage.

The only reason the Mayan calendar ends on that date, is because they were killed off by the Spaniards when they were writing it. No mayans, no calendar.
History solves alot of our future problems

Thank you! I mean seriously this is so damn retarded. No one will know when the world will end, our final hours will more than likely be in bliss.
